SpotlightSearch was born from the chaos of managing a TV pilot.
In 2024, our founders were knee-deep in production on a network pilot in Richmond, Virginia. Budgets lived in Excel. Schedules were on whiteboards. Casting submissions came via email. Vendor bids were tracked in text threads. Contracts were in filing cabinets.
Every production reinvents the wheel. Every line producer builds the same spreadsheets. Every casting director drowns in the same inbox floods. Every vendor submits bids into the void.
We decided to build the platform we wished existed.
